JUST IN: YABATECH BEGINS 2026/2027 ADMISSION UPLOAD ON JAMB CAPS

The Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) has commenced the process of uploading candidates' admission details to the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) for the 2026/2027 academic session.

This development means candidates who have been considered for admission may begin seeing changes in their admission status on JAMB CAPS as the institution processes and uploads names.

JAMB's CAPS dashboard is currently operating for the 2026/2027 admission year, with admissions moving through stages including institutional recommendation, desk-officer processing, approval for candidates' acceptance and acceptance by candidates.

What YABATECH Candidates Should Do

Candidates who applied for the 2026/2027 YABATECH ND Full-Time admission are advised to regularly check their JAMB CAPS.

If your admission has been uploaded and approved, you may see an admission offer on CAPS and will be required to accept the admission.

Candidates should also ensure that their O'Level results are correctly uploaded to JAMB CAPS, as YABATECH has previously stated that applicants must have their O'Level results properly reflected on CAPS for admission processing.

Don't Panic If You Don't See Admission Yet

The uploading process may not happen for every candidate at the same time. Therefore, candidates whose CAPS still shows “Not Admitted” should continue checking their status.

YABATECH has also recently released its 2026/2027 ND Full-Time admission cut-off scores, with both merit and catchment scores published for various programmes.

Candidates can also use the YABATECH admission-status portal to check their provisional admission status using their application/registration number.

IMPORTANT

Seeing “Not Admitted” on JAMB CAPS at this stage does not necessarily mean the candidate has been finally rejected. Admission processing and uploads can occur in batches.

Candidates are advised to check their CAPS regularly and rely on YABATECH and JAMB official platforms for confirmation of admission.
