🟡 PROPOSED FOR ADMISSION BY YOUR INSTITUTION

If your JAMB admission status displays:

it indicates that your institution has proposed or selected you for admission.

However, the admission process is not yet at the final stage.

🟢 RECOMMENDED FOR ADMISSION BY JAMB

have progressed further in the admission process.

This means JAMB has recommended the candidate for admission following the processing of the institution's proposal.

It is a very positive development for the candidate, but candidates should still monitor their JAMB CAPS/admission status for the eventual final admission offer or approval.

RECOMMENDED = Your admission has progressed further through the JAMB process.

The two statuses can be understood this way:
