JAMB Considers “Bring Your Device” Policy for 2027 UTME

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is reportedly considering a new policy initiative that may take effect from the 2027 UTME cycle.
Under this proposed arrangement, a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) system could be introduced, where candidates may be allowed to come along with their personal devices for the examination process, subject to strict guidelines and approval.
This development, if officially implemented, is expected to modernize the examination system and improve the CBT experience for candidates. However, it is important to note that this proposal is still under discussion and has not yet been fully confirmed by JAMB.
